About Megan Simmons

Megan Simmons is the newly appointed Chief Operating Officer for Harcourts Carolinas, bringing her over 15 years of sales experience and 13 years of marketing expertise. Originally from New York and Connecticut, and proudly of Italian and Irish descent, Megan relocated to the South a decade ago and has fully embraced the region’s values, culture, and history. She blends her Northern resilience with Southern heart, making her a strategic leader and a passionate community advocate.

 

Megan’s career foundation was built at iHeartMedia/iHeartRadio, where she spent eight years specializing in digital marketing, podcasting, advertising, and entertainment strategy. Her unique ability to fuse analytics with creativity has helped brands grow authentically while achieving measurable results. After taking two years to raise her young sons while her husband advanced his law enforcement career, Megan returned to the professional arena with unstoppable energy and vision.

 

Coming from a law enforcement and military family, Megan deeply respects service, discipline, and integrity, principles that guide her leadership style and client relationships. She prides herself on character, accountability, and delivering on promises.

 

At the center of it all are her three sons, who remain the driving force behind everything she does. Every decision she makes, personally and professionally, is deeply rooted in her role as a mother and her commitment to creating a meaningful legacy for her family.

 

Beyond her professional role, Megan is passionate about history, law, archaeology, reading, and writing. On weekends, you’ll often find her antiquing, visiting historical sites with her husband and children, cooking big Italian meals, or dreaming of joining an archaeological dig. Her deep appreciation for history also fuels her mission to preserve the unique charm and heritage of the South.

 

Megan is equally committed to philanthropy and disaster relief, working with nonprofits to put “boots on the ground” in areas affected by natural disasters. Her dedication to service, whether in marketing, community impact, or family life, reflects her belief that leadership is about showing up where it matters most.
